The app question gets asked as though there were one answer. There are two. If you open the site most days, the APK saves a login and a few seconds each time and keeps a session alive between trips. If you play twice a month, the browser does everything the app does, costs no storage and asks for nothing beyond what any web page asks for.

Five steps, in order

- Open the operator site in Chrome and use the download link on its own page. Never install a file that arrived through WhatsApp, Telegram or a file-sharing site, however convincing the sender.
- Chrome-এ অপারেটরের সাইট খুলে তাদের নিজস্ব পাতার ডাউনলোড লিংক ব্যবহার করুন। WhatsApp, Telegram বা ফাইল শেয়ারিং সাইট দিয়ে আসা ফাইল কখনো ইনস্টল করবেন না, পাঠানো মানুষটা যত বিশ্বাসযোগ্যই হোক।
- Android will block the first attempt. Allow installation from Chrome specifically in the prompt that appears, rather than switching on unknown sources globally in settings.
- প্রথম চেষ্টাটা অ্যান্ড্রয়েড আটকাবে। সেটিংসে গিয়ে সব উৎসের অনুমতি চালু না করে, যে প্রম্পট আসবে সেখানেই কেবল Chrome-এর জন্য ইনস্টলের অনুমতি দিন।
- Check the file size against the figure printed on the download page before you tap install. A mismatch means you have a copy from somewhere else.
- ইনস্টলে চাপ দেওয়ার আগে ডাউনলোড পাতায় লেখা আকারের সাথে ফাইলের আকার মিলিয়ে নিন। না মিললে বুঝবেন কপিটা অন্য কোথাও থেকে এসেছে।
- Log in with the account that already exists. Opening a second one to try the app is the quickest route to having both frozen for duplicate registration.
- আপনার আগের অ্যাকাউন্ট দিয়েই সাইন ইন করুন। অ্যাপ পরীক্ষা করতে দ্বিতীয় অ্যাকাউন্ট খোলা মানে ডুপ্লিকেট রেজিস্ট্রেশনের কারণে দুটোই দ্রুততম উপায়ে জমে যাওয়া।
- Turn off automatic updates for the package and reinstall from the same page when a version prompt appears, so every file you run has come from one place.
- প্যাকেজের স্বয়ংক্রিয় আপডেট বন্ধ রাখুন আর সংস্করণের বার্তা এলে ওই একই পাতা থেকে আবার ইনস্টল করুন, যাতে আপনার চালানো প্রতিটি ফাইল একটাই জায়গা থেকে আসে।

The package asked for storage and notifications and nothing else on our handset — no contacts, no location, no call log. Over two weeks of ordinary use it accounted for a little under 400 MB of mobile data, almost all of it live studio video; the reels themselves are cheap once their assets are cached.

Add the site to the home screen from the share menu and it opens full screen without the browser chrome. You lose push notifications, which mostly carry promotions, and you keep everything else including the cashier. Anyone offering you a tk999 iOS installer through a link is offering you something else entirely.
